Sands of Time: Game Timer (“the app”) is provided by BishBash (“we”, “us”), based in the United Kingdom. Contact: [email protected]. This policy covers the Sands of Time Android app and this website, bishbash.xyz.
What the app collects
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools. It doesn’t collect, store or share personal data, and it doesn’t need an internet connection to work.
What stays on your phone
Your settings, such as turn length, chimes, style, background, player colours and the turn count, are saved on your device so the app remembers them. They are never sent anywhere. Uninstalling the app deletes them.
Motion sensor and vibration
The app reads your phone’s motion sensor only to notice a shake (which starts the timer) and, if you switch on “Flip face down to pause”, whether the phone is face down. These readings are used instantly on your phone and are never recorded or sent anywhere. The app can vibrate when a turn starts, at each chime and when time is up, and you can turn this off. It also keeps the screen on while a timer is running.
Purchases
If you buy Premium, the payment is handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your card details. The app asks Google Play whether your Google account owns Premium, and remembers the answer on your phone. Google’s handling of the payment is covered by Google’s own privacy policy.
Permissions
The Android app uses vibration, keeps the screen awake while a timer runs, and uses Google Play Billing for the optional Premium purchase. It asks for no other permissions, and it doesn’t use your location, camera, microphone, contacts or files.
Website
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies and uses no analytics.
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you, and we keep them only as long as needed to help you.
Children
The app is suitable for everyone and doesn’t knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you may have the right to ask what data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Because the app doesn’t collect personal data, we usually hold nothing beyond any emails you send us. Contact [email protected]. If you’re in the UK, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

If our practices change we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
